Social Media Manager – Minerva Consulting

The Social Media Manager at Minerva Consulting is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of Social Media Strategy for our company and for our clients – ensuring consistency in voice throughout digital materials and cultivating an active role in the social media community.

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS


  • 3 – 5 years hands-on experience in strategy/planning with a focus on digital media and marketing
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, Google+Local, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios
  • Knowledge of and ability to utilize social media best practices to help optimize our content publishing efforts
  • Experience in monitoring and evaluating social media using industry standard tools like Google Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics, HootSuite, Raven Tools, Moz, Facebook Insights, etc. to identify areas for improvements and report on key performance indicators and return on investment
  • Good knowledge of principles of SEO
  • Background in community management, PR or corporate communications
  • Strong project management or organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high-level of independence
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, and build and maintain relationships
  • Team player, with the confidence to take the lead when necessary
  • Knowledge of blogging ecosystem
  • Agency experience a plus

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Develop, update, implement, and maintain the social media and web content strategy, coordinating with stakeholders across the company to ensure its effectiveness in meeting client goals and benchmarks
  • Work with copy-writers, marketing team members and designers to implement strategies and objectives
  • Ensure social media tools are kept up-to-date
  • Manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities, including online advocacy, copy- writing, post planning, and community outreach
  • Monitor analytics and benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs. Review and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results
  • Regularly report insights gained from social media monitoring to the company to assist in evolving client strategies in a timely fashion
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications
  • Monitor the client competition as applicable and be aware of market changes and developments
