Senior SEM Specilaist Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage multiple SEM campaigns for various North American markets
- Maximize revenue within a set ROI
- Keep campaigns up-to-date according to search engines’ changing policies and best practices
- Lead the market with cutting edge messaging and landing pages
- Constant exploratory analysis of data and strategies and consequent campaign implementation to drive performance improvements
- Gather actionable data from our various sources to ensure consistent and continual optimization of campaigns and execute campaign management tactics
- Plan, implement and analyze tests
- Contribute to the development of search & online marketing and trading strategies & processes
- Build and maintain internal & external relationships with vendors, partners, and customers
- Conduct keyword research and additions to new and existing campaigns
- Conduct ad copy adjustment and testing according to best practices
- Own a piece of the channel P&L and drive marketing contribution
- Lead as a critical thinker using data and experience to make sound decisions, even with incomplete information
- Create & execute marketing plans for your business
- Work with regional teams to develop business goals and targets
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong analytical skills, including data manipulation, financial analysis and processing large amounts of data to understand trends
- Strong communications skills (written and oral)
- Ability to excel in a fast paced environment
- Excellence in implementation, attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Conceptualize, initiate and manage tests
- Experience managing large, cross-functional projects and teams
- 3-5 years’ experience in travel, e-commerce, consulting, finance, accounting or engineering industries
- Experience in quantitative, mathematics, statistics, science or other fields is preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge (PowerPoint & SQL a plus)
- Experience in SEM, online advertising, paid search or e-commerce is a plus but not required
