Are you attending Pubcon in Austin this month? If so, you are in for a content marketing treat. We’re proud to see this year’s lineup feature a large dose of local digital marketing talent, including DFWSEM Members Kevin Adams, Damon Gochneaur, Bill Hartzer, Sean Jackson, Joe Youngblood, and Tony Wright.
Pubcon Austin takes place on Monday, April 20 at the AT&T Conference Center on the University of Texas campus. The day-long conference will focus on best practices for social media, SEO, and search engine marketing.
Damon Gochneaur, Founder of the Aspiro Agency, will present a session about remarketing strategies.
Damon will be joined by Sean Dolan to discuss new trends in content marketing strategies for small business. You will also learn how to make best use of marketing automation tools like HubSpot and InfusionSoft.
Sean Jackson, Founding Partner at Copyblogger Media, takes an in-depth look at visual content and mobile convergence. Sean explores the current state of visual content marketing and how tools such as Pinterest, Vine, YouTube, and Instagram can benefit your business. You will also learn more about how to optimize for Foursquare, Yelp, and Local Places.
Sean will also serve as moderator for Adam Proehl’s session, Social Media Measurements and Analytics.
Bill Hartzer, Senior SEO Strategist at Globe Runner will share the stage with Mindy Weinstein to discuss search strategies and tactics that can make content attractive to social media sites. Joe Laratro will serve as moderator.
Bill will also moderate a local and mobile search panel discussion featuring Loren Baker and Brian Combs.
Joe Laratro will moderate a panel discussion with Tony Wright, Rob Woods, and William Leake on the hottest SEO trends. SEO is in a constant state of change and this session will focus on using keyword data, traffic conversion strategies, avoiding Google penalties by not “overdoing it”, as well as ethical client site management.
Joe Youngblood of Winner Winner Chicken Dinner will moderate a conference session with content marketing experts Matt Siltala and Sean Jackson. They’ll discuss real world content marketing strategies and latest trends that can take your digital marketing efforts to a new level.
Joe will also be part of a panel discussion about local and brand content marketing strategies. During this session, you will learn how to create a hyper-local content marketing strategy. Joe is joined on this panel by Steve Floyd and Kate Morris, with Matt Siltala as moderator.
Kevin Adams, John Ellis and Marc Poirier will participate in a panel focused on advanced level paid search topics. This session will cover shared libraries, Google AdWords, and PPC mobile strategies. The panel will discuss tactics for customizing PPC ad extensions and how to set preferences best for desktop and mobile performance. This is a “don’t miss” session for those who work with SEO, search engine marketing, and/or paid search campaigns. Joe Laratro will moderate.
